Christmas holiday brought us finest weather we could imagine. So we could not stop ski touring physically "to death". Have a look where we've been.

Despite a nasty weather forecast we could not resist going out for some altitude gain. In such situation, the best choice was Jasna ski area, where lifts were not operating in high winds, so the tracks & powder were free for us ;-) We did two rounds till Lukova station and we found pretty also...
26.12.08 Jasna – Chopok – Jasna
Second attempt for Chopok was succesful, as the winds slowed down. The disadvantage was that all terrain was skied ... only above Lukova we found few nice pow turns.
28.12.08 Strbske pleso - Patria
This classic skitour in High Tatras was long in my sight. As the conditions seemed OK and Zdeno was also happy about this route.
29.12.08 - 01.01.09 Silvester touring in West Tatras
03.01.09 Strbske pleso - Voli chrbat, Vysoke Tatry
Fresh 20 cm of powder were quite nice ;-) Very cold but enjoyable!
